How to block people in facebook

Is some one disturbing you?
Are you in facebook but you dont want a certain people to find you?
Do not worry, you can block that people, by blocking a user in facebook, it means you can not see each other even if you search for that particular person provided you have logged in.

To block a person follow these instructions:

  1. On top right corner, click Home, then go to Privacy Settings
  2.  Then from Blocked People and apps, click Manage Blocking
  3. From there you will be able to choose, people or applications to block.

Control who can look up your profile (timeline) by name.

Facebook used to have a setting that controlled who can look up your profile (timeline) using your name.
Facebook removed that setting because your profile (timeline) could be discovered in other ways in connection with your name.
For example, if you selected Friends or Friends of Friends for this setting, it only prevented your profile (timeline) from showing up in search results.
It didn't prevent a link to your profile (timeline) from showing up in search connected to other posts, like posts you're tagged in. It also didn't prevent your profile (timeline) from being discovered through other search terms like employment, college, location, etc.
Additionally, anyone who knew your unique Facebook web address (either your User ID or username), could find your profile (timeline).

Many people used this control to prevent unwanted friend requests or messages. To control who can send you a friend request or a Facebook message:

  1. Click the account menu at the top right of any Facebook page and choose Privacy Settings
  2. Next to the How You Connect heading, click Edit Settings
  3. Select your preference from the dropdown menu next to Who can send you friend requests? or Who can send you Facebook messages?

Facebook Privacy Control

Which kind of privacy you would like to control in facebook?
Check any of the following posts.

Manage who can find you on facebook

By default, your privacy settings allow everyone to find you with search and friend finder using your contact info, such as your email address and phone number. But when people click on your name in a search result, they won’t be able to see all of the information in your profile (timeline). They'll always be able to view your name, gender, profile picture, username, user id (account number) and networks.

Your privacy settings determine whether people can view additional information when they click on your name in a search result.

If you’d like to modify who can look you up using your email address or phone number:

  1. Click the account menu  at the top right of any Facebook page and choose Privacy Settings
  2. Next to the How You Connect heading, click Edit Settings
  3. Select your preference from the dropdown menu next to Who can look you up using the email address or phone number you provided?
This setting doesn't control who can message you on Facebook.
To do that:
  1. Click the account menu  at the top right of any Facebook page and choose Privacy Settings
  2. Next to the How You Connect heading, click Edit Settings
  3. Select your preference from the dropdown menu next to Who can send you Facebook messages?

After these settings, when clicking done, you will be able to control who can find you on facebook using phone or email, who can send you friend request or who can send you message on facebook.

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR RELATIONSHIP STATUS IN FACEBOOK

Do you want to change your relationship status on Facebook? This guide will show you how to do it.

Once you have logged in to Facebook, on the top right hand corner of the page, click on the Profile option and then on the Edit Profile button that will appear right below.

Once you have done this, in the left sidebar, click on the option that says Friends and Family.

This will lead you to a form in which you will be able to choose your relationship status in a drop-down menu. Some of these statuses offer you a field to type the name of the relationship partner.

Once you have set your status, click on the Save Changes button at the end of the form.

If you added someone as a relationship partner, this person will receive a request to approve it, and if it is accepted, his or her name will appear as a blue link on your profile.

HOW TO DEACTIVATE FACEBOOK ACCOUNT

Want to deactivate your account on Facebook? This guide will show you how to do it.

Once you have logged in to Facebook, open the Account menu on the top right of the page, and then select the option “Account Settings,” where shown by the red arrows in the next image:

Once you have done that, in the left hand menu, click on the Security option, which is the one indicated in the next image:
Then, near the bottom of the screen, click on the “Deactivate your account” link:
To complete the deactivation you will have to choose your reason for leaving from a list of options and then click on the Confirm button. This will open a pop up box asking for your password: Enter it and click on the Confirm button. Finally, you will be asked to read a captcha text and enter it. Do so and click on the Submit button. This will lead you to Facebook's home page, where you will see a message confirming that your account has been deactivated.

Deactivation allows users to make their whole account invisible for temporary reasons and to recover all their information when they return, including their “list of friends” and their photos, just as it was before they left. To recover all their stuff they just have to log in again after 24 hours have passed since the deactivation.
